    Enactus chapter offering career seminar for veterans March 12

    The Northwest Missouri State University Enactus Chapter, through the support of a grant from ADP, will offer a free seminar to assist veterans seeking to reenter the workforce or advance their careers.

    The free seminar will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Northwest-St. Joseph, located in the Historic Green Acres building at 3500 North Village Drive, near the city’s Belt Highway and just one mile northwest of Highway 169 and Interstate 29.

    The seminar will include presentations about resumes, interview attire and other topics. A free lunch will be provided.

    RSVPs are requested to by Saturday, March 5.

    Enactus is an international nonprofit organization for students interested in bettering their communities through service and education-based projects. Dr. Ben Blackford, assistant professor of management, and Brenda Jones, senior instructor of marketing, serve as advisors of the Northwest chapter.
