Russian Studies Club to host Slavic Folk Dance Festival Dec. 3

The public is invited to participate in a Slavic Folk Dance Festival to benefit the Russian Studies Club at Northwest Missouri State University.

The dance festival is 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Wesley Student Center, 549 W. Fourth St.

The program and workshop will be presented by the World Folk Dancers, a group of international folk dancers from Kansas City, Missouri. The group will perform multiple Slavic folk dances and teach dances to the audience.

Refreshments also will be provided.

Tickets are available for $5 in advance at the Student Services Center on the first floor of the Administration Building or from Russian Studies Club members. Tickets also may be purchased for $7 at the door.
