Northwest Board of Regents to meet Friday, June 26

Northwest Missouri State University's Board of Regents will meet in a regular session at 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, in Room 1226 of the Dean L. Hubbard Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The tentative meeting agenda is available at

Prior to its meeting the Board of Regents and Northwest Leadership Team will tour the Robert and Virginia Foster Fitness Center. The tour, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the construction entrance located by the circle drive next to Lamkin Activity Center, will provide Board members with an update on the construction project’s progress. Northwest Capital Program Manager Allen Mays will lead the tour, and media are invited to attend.  

The tentative meeting agenda also includes a vote to close part of the meeting pursuant to R.S. MO 610.021(1)(2)(3)(13). After any closed session, the Board may, at its discretion, decide to go back into open session to discuss any old business or raise new items as individual members deem appropriate.

The Board of Regents is responsible for sound resource management of the University and determining general, educational and financial policies.
