The Northwest Missouri State University Horticulture Club is hosting its annual plant sale on Wednesday, April 22, from noon to 5:30 p.m. or until the plants are gone.
The sale will take place at the Horticulture Complex in greenhouse No.1, located on the north end of the Northwest campus near the Forest Village Apartments. The sale is open to the public.
Tomatoes, peppers, marigolds, alyssum, herbs and more will be available for patrons to purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Horticulture Club.
“The Horticulture Club is focused on growing through hands-on experience with plants,” said Sarah Smith, club president. “The club is actively expanding our interactions with others on the Northwest campus. As a club we also focus on expanding the world’s mind by helping people better understand plants.”
