Kazual, a quartet of singing brothers that appeared on Season 3 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” is bringing its blend of R&B and hip hop to Northwest Missouri State University.
Northwest’s Student Activities Council is sponsoring the performance set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. The concert is free and open to the public.
Kazual features E.Jae, Playboi, D-Mac and Lil’ Gabe performing an eclectic mix of R&B, hip hop and dirty pop reminiscent of Boyz II Men, New Edition and Jodeci – creating a unique style of music the group members have dubbed “DooWopHipPop.”
In addition to “America’s Got Talent,” the group has appeared on “The Maury Show” and “Showtime at The Apollo.” They’ve opened for Destiny’s Child and Nelly among other popular music artists.
Kazual’s most recent release, 2010’s “Back From the Future,” is available for download at CDBaby, iTunes and other digital music retailers. For more information about Kazual, visit www.kazualmania.com.
