Northwest Missouri State University’s Student Senate is seeking students to fill two open off-campus representative positions.
Interested students may apply to appear on the ballot by clicking here. Candidates must have at least a 2.25 cumulative grade-point average and be enrolled as a full-time student during the fall trimester. The deadline to apply for candidacy is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.
Interested candidates must also attend one of two informational meetings, scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, or 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in the Student Engagement Center on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union. Failure to attend one of the meetings will result in disqualification from the ballot.
A special election to elect the off-campus representatives will take place Wednesday, Nov. 13 through Friday, Nov. 15, on CatPaws by visiting the voting tab. Election results will be announced during the Student Senate meeting Tuesday Nov. 19.
