Tickets available for Northwest Night at the St. Joseph Mustangs Game

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University alumni and friends are invited to enjoy a fun-filled evening at the ballpark Saturday, June 11, for Northwest Night at the St. Joseph Mustangs Game.

The baseball game featuring the St. Joseph Mustangs and the Nevada Griffons begins at 7 p.m. at Phil Welch Stadium, 2600 SW Parkway, in St. Joseph. The event is sponsored by Northwest Missouri State University and the Northwest Alumni Association.


Two hundred fifty free general admission tickets were given away, but fans can still purchase discounted tickets for $4.50 each. Simply stop by the Alumni House, 640 College Ave., in Maryville, or contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 660.562.1248 or to purchase tickets today. Payment must be provided at the time of purchase.

Tickets must be picked up before the game at the green Northwest Alumni Association tent outside the stadium beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11.  

Free t-shirts

Free t-shirts, provided by The Student Body and the Northwest Alumni Association, will be given to the first 250 fans who stop by the Northwest Alumni Association tent prior to the game. There will also be plenty of giveaways and information about the Northwest Alumni Association, admission to Northwest and the Northwest St. Joseph Center.

Plenty to cheer about

Bobby Bearcat, the Northwest cheerleaders and the Bearcat Steppers will perform prior to the game and will help with the many Northwest-themed promotions and giveaways throughout the game.

Fans are also encouraged to tailgate prior to the game.

The St. Joseph Mustangs are members of the M.I.N.K. Baseball League, a summer collegiate baseball league that includes eight teams from Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. For more information on the St. Joseph Mustangs, visit
