Students invited to submit compositions to writing anthology

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Students in Northwest Missouri State University's Publication Skills graduate course are compiling papers, multimedia projects and portfolios for an anthology of student writing and a companion website.

The "Northwest Student Writing Anthology" will be a compilation of student writing to be used in composition classrooms. All types and lengths of writing, as well as multimedia projects and portfolios, will be accepted.

All submissions - including essays, multimedia projects and portfolios - must have been completed for English 110, 111, 112 or 115. Authors may submit multiple pieces of writing for review. Entire portfolios of work completed in the composition classes also are appreciated.

The submissions will be reviewed blind; names should be removed from the submissions. Authors should attach their submission to an e-mail that includes the author's name, phone number, regularly checked e-mail address, the submission's title and the name of the class for which the paper or project was completed.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 18. All authors whose work is accepted will be contacted by early March.
