The panel consisted of Craig Warner, associate professor of art; Darla Runyon, assistant director for the Center for Information Technology in Education; Kris Bakko, faculty tech support assistant for the Center for Information Technology in Education; Teresa Carter, publications coordinator for University Relations; Dr. Jon Rickman, vice president of information systems; and Crystal Ward, junior web master.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to vote for the next Northwest Computer User's Guide Cover by clicking here.

Judging for the Cover Art Contest will be open through Monday, April 12.

The Information Systems cover art contest is held in cooperation with the fine arts department, the Center for Information Technology in Education (CITE) and University Relations.

The mission of the art contest, which began at Northwest in 2004, is to draw attention to the User's Guide, which provides students with important information about campus computing resources, guidelines and policies that are important to maintaining a secure and stable network at Northwest. The contest also aims to give students professional experience in the design field that they can utilize to enhance their portfolio and resume.

The artist of the winning cover will receive a 4-gigabyte USB flash drive and two finished copies of the User's Guide for their portfolio.
