Student Development

The Missouri Academy considers the overall development of each student to be as important as the academic success. To meet this end, students are provided with many rich opportunities for involvement, engagement and networking.

More than just living in the residence hall, Student Development encompasses the holistic growth of the student (academically, socially, interculturally, mentally, etc.). Residential Counselors (RC's) are full-time, bachelor's degree level professionals who live in the community with Missouri Academy students. These RC's help guide, challenge, and celebrate students' successes throughout the student experience at the Missouri Academy. Without fail, each and every student has the chance to make a strong connection with an RC, be involved with their community, and make life-long connections with students who have similar interests and aspirations.
