Convention

Each spring, Northwest's chapter sends a student contingent to the national Sigma Tau Delta convention. The annual convention gives members from around the globe the chance to gather in one place, share their ideas, get recognition for their achievements and to participate in a meeting of an international society. At Northwest, we view the convention as a great time to meet other students, faculty and writers from around the world, to forge new friendships, to present student scholarship and creative works and to further our discussions of English language and literature. Students are able to do all this while taking in the scenery of the event's host city. In Spring 2009, the Sigma Tau Delta Convention will be held March 26-29 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
