Comprehensive communication majors emphasizing in public relations learn methods to understanding targeted audiences, and explaining products, services and missions to a specific audience. Faculty focus on oral, written and verbal communication skills as well as problem-solving skills to effectively meet the needs of management and the targeted audience.

FastTracks Eligible Program

FastTracks

FastTracks is a flexible and unique, concurrent enrollment program allows students to attend Northwest Missouri State University and Metropolitan Community College (MCC) simultaneously. Students save time and money while earning their Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in four years.

Students receive the benefits of attending both institutions, and a new Paws Scholarship allows them to save up to $4,500 toward Northwest classes while attending MCC.
