Faculty-Led Programs

A faculty led short term program is an academic experience involving both traditional learning and experiential learning opportunities in an international setting. The primary purpose of the faculty led short term study is to help students apply first-hand international experience to their own academic development. Students will have the opportunity to develop positive personal, professional and intercultural skills. Faculty directors are Northwest professors who choose to lead a program abroad, participants are Northwest students who enroll in the courses. The length of the program varies from one week to 8 weeks, depending on the nature of the program.


Eligibility

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and good academic and discipline standing status with the university. 


Enrollment

A short term study program courses bear academic credit. Therefore, all students must enroll in the course offered as part of the experience.
