Job Description

Oversee and facilitate the creation and marketing of advertisements for all events through online social media outlets, traditional media outlets, and public awareness strategies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading multiple homecoming committees
  • Creating advertisements for all homecoming events and initiatives
  • Collaborating with:
    • Northwest Student Media
    • Community Partners
    • Campus offices/departments
    • Other Homecoming Executive Board members
  • Oversight of:
    • Campus Office/Department Photo Contest
    • Northwest Homecoming Social Media accounts
    • T-shirt Sales
  • Conduct all Homecoming Committee meetings
  • Act as main contact/liaison between:
    • Student body and Homecoming Committee
    • Organizational Representatives and Homecoming Committee
  • Assists other Executive Board members in facilitation of homecoming events
  • Managing the timely and professional completion of all activities associated with the position 


Prior involvement with Northwest Homecoming Committee and event planning experience preferred.

Wage Rate

$500 scholarship per semester

Hours Available

10 Hours per week
