Greek Life at Northwest

During Homecoming in October, Greeks show their Bearcat pride through a number of events and activities. Members create Homecoming banners, prepare skits for the variety show and build floats, jalopies and clowns for the parade. Usually two Greek organizations work together on these projects. Homecoming is a great time to meet new friends from the other groups, meet visiting alumni and show pride in your chapter.

Variety ShowGreek Week

Greek Week is a week long event when all the Greeks come together as a whole for a common good. Each spring, all Greek organizations participate in a philanthropy event to benefit Maryville and the surrounding community. This past year, the Greeks raised money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Greek Week is a great time to meet and socialize with members of other Greek organizations. Through events and competitions like Greek Olympiad and Casino Night, members of each organization show their pride and come together as a community.

Becoming A New Greek (BANG)

Becoming a new Greek is wonderful but sometimes it can be stressful. BANG is sponsored by active Greek members with insight on how to make a smooth transition into the Greek community and make the most out of your Greek experience. They discuss the importance of academics, early involvement, time management, Greek unity, leadership and risk management.
