Bearcat Leadership Training

Bearcat Leadership Training is a conference meant to create better Bearcat leaders. On January 10th & 11th Bearcat Leadership Training was held in the Student Union and over 150 students attended the conference.

The training held two different sections: Track 1 and Track 2. Track 1 exposed students to the Student Leadership Challenge and Track 2 provided a deeper understanding of the practices of the Student Leadership Challenge and other aspects of leadership. The sessions in Track 2 included social media leadership, being an inclusive leader, well-balanced leader, brand yourself, and interview/career readiness.

Bearcat Leadership Training was organized by the Office of Student Involvement and designed and facilitated by Lead Green mentors. Those mentors include Becca Kasper, Kali Fujinami, Brooke Ravenscraft, Casey Schulte, Chloe King, and Lauren King.
