About

Mrs. Purdy retired as a Lead Associate from Booz I Allen I Hamilton, a leading provider of consulting services to the US government in defense, intelligence, and civil markets. Mrs. Purdy's clients included several Department of Defense Headquarters level organizations in cyberspace and Information Technology (IT). She continues to consult on enterprise cyberspace and cybersecurity workforce and human capital planning solutions. Before joining Booz Allen, Mrs. Purdy served as a career Naval officer with experience in anti-submarine warfare, intelligence, operations, and joint warfighting. Currently, she owns and operates an AirBnB residence in Annapolis. Mrs. Purdy is a Senior Advisor to the US-Asia Institute (USAI); a non-governmental organization devoted to fostering understanding, and strengthening ties between the people and governments of the U.S. and Asia. In addition to many philanthropic endeavors at the US Naval Academy, the Purdy family sponsors USNA midshipmen each academic year. Additionally, Mrs. Purdy is a Director on the “Friends at the Petworth Library” Board in Washington DC and a strong supporter of the Northwest Missouri State University Washington DC Alumni Group.

Why are you "forever green"?

"In high school I wanted to join the Navy and "See the World." My parents convinced me to go to Northwest. This decision was a wise choice as I was able to "see" Europe after Sophomore and Junior academic years, and then later, as a Navy Officer. I can never give back what Northwest gave to me."
