About

Upon graduation from Northwest, Bruce accepted a position as an Operations Research Analyst working for the United States Department of the Army at Fort Leavenworth, KS where he worked with a group developing computer‐based combat simulation models. One year later, he accepted a job at a regional investment bank in Kansas City, MO where he developed software for the structuring and analysis of mortgage backed securities. This led to a long career in structured finance that has spanned 30 years and counting and has yielded opportunities to work on Wall Street and in London. He has held various positions ranging from developer of analytics, deal structurer, investment banker, trader and portfolio manager. With the exception of a few years spent in London, he has been based in southwestern Connecticut since 1990 where he currently resides with his wife, Debra (Parisi, attd ’84‐’86), daughters, Christine and Jennifer, and son, Ryan.

Why are you "forever green"?

I haven’t forgotten my roots. 30+ years later and halfway across the country, I still give credit where credit is due: to Northwest Missouri State University for helping to prepare me for the proverbial journey ahead. It is an honor and a pleasure to help Northwest in its continuing mission to prepare the students of today and tomorrow for their respective journeys.
