Rob Barmann has been in the banking industry for 33 years. The last 13 years has been with Wells Bank, serving as the Chairman of the Board and CEO. Wells Bank currently has locations in Maryville, Savannah, Oregon, Platte City, and Kansas City. Rob also serves as Chairman and CEO of Connections Bancshares, Inc, which has banks in Kirksville, Ashland, Prairie Home, and Bunceton, MO.
Rob is married to Camellia (Scott) ’85, with three sons – Eric, Jason, and Matthew, and one daughter – Janessa.
Why are you "forever green"?
"Growing up in Maryville gave me an understanding of the value the University brings to the area and afforded me the opportunity to earn a degree. Northwest provided me with experiences I could apply to my future, including the formation of life-long business and personal relationships. As I have been fortunate to be able to build my career in community banking, I have developed an even deeper appreciation for the University’s mission to focus on student success."
