Andrea Stanton, horn, a native of Savannah, Missouri, holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with horn performance emphasis (Missouri Western State University), a Master of Music in Horn Performance (University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance), and an Artist Certificate (UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance). Ms. Stanton serves on the music faculty at Northwest Missouri State University, MidAmerica Nazarene University (Olathe, KS), and operates the Stanton Horn Studio (Kansas City and Liberty, MO locations).

In addition to being a frequent guest clinician in schools throughout Kansas City and northwest Missouri, she also keeps a busy performance schedule, and is principal horn in the Northland Symphony and Harmonie Winds wind octet. Notable recent performances include the 25th Anniversary Production of Les Misérables, the Josh Groban 'In the Round' tour, Christmas with Amy Grant, the Evanescence 'Synthesis Live with Orchestra' world tour, Evanescence + Lindsey Stirling North American tour, and the Hanson 'String Theory Live with a Symphony Orchestra' North American tour.

Administratively, Andrea has worked in the education and operations departments of the Kansas City Symphony, as Personnel Manager for the St. Joseph Symphony, and currently works as a consultant for arts and education organizations in the Kansas City area.
