Music scholarship auditions are held every year in February, across multiple dates. Students are required to register for auditions via the online form that is made available on this page every Fall; once the registration is completed, we will contact you via email to share your audition date and time. Your audition can take place on campus or via Zoom on the designated days. Each person will be contacted, once an application has been received, to confirm the date/time of the audition and to send a Zoom link if applicable. Those auditioning may also choose to video record the audition, but the recording should be received by February 20, 2021. Please send links (YouTube, Dropbox, etc.) to for each audition area, appropriately labeled/identified. If recordings are mailed or delivered, they should also be clearly identified and will not be returned. Scholarship auditions can be scheduled after February 20, but the availability of scholarships may be limited.

It is preferred that students audition in person on the Northwest campus (if possible), and take advantage of the opportunity to tour campus, rehearse with our ensembles, and meet current students and faculty. All on-campus auditions will be held in the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building on the Northwest campus.

To organize a campus tour, please call our Admissions Office at 800.633.1175 or visit our campus tour site.

Any student, regardless of major, is eligible to audition. Admittance to the university is required before we can offer music scholarship funds. If you have not applied for admission, call 800.633.1175 to request admission information and an application, or apply online at

Scholarship Requirements
