Native American Heritage Month: Land acknowledgement presentation

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion conclude its commemoration of Native American Heritage Month with a presentation by Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion Dr. Shay Malone about land acknowledgment statements.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the history of Land Acknowledgments and how they can, if created thoughtfully, be utilized to build reciprocal relationships with Indigenous communities.
