1920s Jazz Speakeasy!

March 9, 2019  |  7-10 p.m.

Ballroom  |  J.W. Jones Student Union

The Community Connections group, affiliated with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Northwest, cordially invites the Maryville area community to attend the 2nd Annual Jazz Speakeasy.

Dr. Bill Richardson, the Northwest Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will fill the ballroom with the smooth sounds of jazz and blues standards while attendees enjoy the “bees knees” refreshments and a cash bar for those over 21 by Northwest Catering. Adam Gonzales, DJ, will provide music between each jazz set. A dance floor will also be provided, should you want to “do the dance.”

The evening is a fundraiser to aid Northwest students in need and an opportunity to meet old and new friends. The event is open to all community members and Northwest employees. Come dressed as you are, or dress like its 1920 once again!

Individuals interested in attending should register online by February 28, 2019.

The registration fee of $30 per person will help support Northwest students in need of emergency funds to assist them with maintaining their enrollment and completing their degrees.

Registration Open
