PBL Palooza

Attention students! Did you recently complete an internship, field experience, student practicum, research project or class project that is profession-based? Do you like to win prizes?

Join us for PBL Palooza, an event focused on all of the amazing profession-based learning experiences happening on our campus.

At Northwest, we strive to be a leader in profession-based learning (PBL) a set of experiences developed through industry and community collaborations and partnerships, preparing all Northwest students for life-long learning, in their careers and as citizens.

Students are invited to prepare and bring a 3’x4’ poster of your project or experience and display it at the event. The night of the event, you will stand by your poster and explain your project. All guests who attend the event get to vote for their favorite posters and the posters receiving with the most votes wins a stellar prize. Join us! And invite your friends and family to attend and vote for you!

Student Interest Form

Students who are interested in participating in the event need to fill out a short interest form to receive more information about the event.

Poster Tips

  • All posters must be 3x4 feet
  • They can be in color or in black and white
  • Create your poster in PowerPoint, to get it to the 3x4 feet size
  • If you would like to use the University Copy Center, here are a few additional tips
    • Submit project files to or bring an electronic version to the University Copy Center office, located in the Thompson-Ringgold Building.
    • Allow two weeks for printing. In order to guaranteed for the November 18 event all posters need to be sent to the Mail/Copy Center by November 4.
    • Cost is $28 and Career Services will pay for the poster if you tell the Mail/Copy Center that it is for PBL Palooza.
