Fall Classic at Arrowhead

Fall Classic at Arrowhead

The Fall Classic at Arrowhead will take place Saturday, Sept. 30 at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium as the Bearcats take on the University of Central Missouri Mules. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. This year, Northwest will be the visiting team and occupy the northeast sideline.

Bearcat Zone Tailgate

Fans are invited to the Northwest Alumni Association’s tailgate festivities, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Founders Club, located on the northeast corner of the stadium. Food and beverages can be purchased at the tailgate, and there will be performances by the Northwest cheerleaders and Steppers, the Bearcat Marching Band and Bobby Bearcat. The Northwest Alumni Association also will be providing giveaways throughout the family-friendly event.

Fans wishing to tailgate must park in one space and tailgate in front of or behind their vehicle. Gates to the stadium open at 3:30 p.m. Once fans exit the stadium gates, re-entry to the stadium is not allowed.

Chiefs Security

The National Football League and the Kansas City Chiefs have instituted additional security measures for events at Arrowhead Stadium. Backpacks are not allowed inside the stadium, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to comply with additional screening methods.

To provide a safer environment for the public and to significantly expedite fan entry into Arrowhead Stadium, the NFL’s clear bag policy will be implemented on game day, which limits the size and type of bag that can be brought into the stadium. Below is an outline of what is permissible:
