Development Officer

  • M.S.Ed. Elementary and Secondary Administration, Northwest Missouri State University, 1997
  • B.S. Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities, Northwest Missouri State University, 2005

I joined Northwest as a development officer in September 2005. My primary focus is to assist in formulating a strategy for our team of development officers to fundraise for Northwest Missouri State University. I am responsible for a caseload of prospects and donors in seeking gifts to the Northwest Foundation fundraising private funds for the University through Northwest Foundation. In this capacity, I am responsible for contacting alumni and friends who are interested in supporting Northwest.

Prior to joining the University Advancement team, I was a special education teacher at Maryville Middle School.

I am originally from Corydon, Iowa. My husband, Jon, is director of operations at Northwest's MOERA (Mozingo Outdoor Education and Recreation Area) and was previously the defensive line and strength training coach for the Bearcat football team. Jon and I own GET FIT 24 fitness center in Maryville.

We have three sons, Jack, Cade and Marc, who all attend Maryville R-II school district. I enjoy exercising, watching my boys play sports and spending time with my family and friends.
