COVID-19 Recovery: Mitigation Measures

All employees, students and visitors are expected to comply with the following mitigation measures while at work, attending classes, or visiting the Northwest campus and its facilities.

  • Self-monitor for COVID-19 or related symptoms and do not come to campus if symptoms present.
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance between other individuals.
  • Wear a face covering if 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Use additional physical barriers where services to employees, students and stakeholders are provided and 6 feet of social distancing cannot be achieved or consistently maintained.

Northwest requires all individuals to wear face coverings in the presence of others on campus and in public settings where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., hallways, common work spaces, meeting rooms, classrooms, etc.). The appropriate use of face coverings is critical to minimize the spread of COVID-19 to others. Wearing a face covering not only protects you; it is us collectively protecting one another.
