I’m excited for SOAR because:

I am excited about SOAR because it is the first big step in the life of every Bearcat. I am super honored to get to be a part of that journey for all of our incoming students!

My favorite Northwest tradition is:

My favorite Northwest tradition is the rich history of our school! From famous alumni to being the first campus in the country with a computer network, to the story of Mike the Dog and everything in between. Northwest continues to tell the story of a rich culture with ambitious students after over a hundred years!

Student Organizations I’m involved in:

I chose Northwest because our University dedicates itself to making sure students are successful. Northwest makes sure every detail of the campus experience helps students achieve our professional, academic and personal goals!

Advice for First-time Freshmen

Take the time to meet your professors. At the beginning of each semester, visit them during the office hours, introduce yourself, let them know what class you have with them and tell them how excited you are to learn from them. Your professors will take the time to invest in your success if you take the time to invest in their class.
