When Should I Arrive?

Freshmen | Transfer Students | Commuter Students

Freshmen

Move-in Day for Fall 2019 will be Saturday, August 17. During your designated time, pull up outside your residence hall. You can unload and take your belongings to your room. If you need assistance, the Cat Crew is available to help!

Make sure you’ve turned in your health forms View PDF, or you will not be allowed to move in.

Designated move-in times are based on the student's last name.

Check-in

A welcome packet has been created and will be available at your residence hall when you move in. Your packet will include your Bearcat Card, an updated class schedule and an Advantage schedule.

Commuter students, when you arrive on campus, you MUST also check in at Orientation Central on the third floor of the Union and attend required events. There are many opportunities to meet people. You won’t want to miss anything!

Review your Advantage schedule, settle in and have fun!

Transfer Students

Transfer students planning to live on campus will receive more detailed information soon. Students enrolled in a University Seminar must attend Advantage events as part of the course requirements.

Transfer students should stop by Orientation Central at the Student Success Center (2nd floor, B.D. Owens Library) upon arrive to collect your welcome packet.

Commuter Students

Students commuting to campus should plan to take off work and attend Advantage.

When you arrive on campus, you MUST also check in at Orientation Central. Plan to attend all required events including the Commuter Student Meeting. There are many opportunities to meet people during Advantage- you won’t want to miss anything!
