ATS Automatic Gradebook Update.  This is an automatic service from ATS that updates the gradebook nightly.  Course gradebooks are updated with the attendance data approximately 10 pm on the day the class met.  If you do not want to have the ‘NW Attendance’ to be part of the grade then go into edit the assignment and check the box that says ‘Do not count this assignment towards the final grade.’ You and the students will still see the ‘NW Attendance’ assignment in the gradebook.

Contact the CITE OfficeZweifel, in the Learning and Teaching Center if you want to use the ATS sytem for tracking attendance.
