Internship Photo Contest

Rosalie Weathermon has been working with the CITE Office to create an Internship Photo Contest to further engage students in the internship program. The Internship Photo Contest database provides an online repository for students to compete in a photo contest. Students can easily load a photo which represents their internship. Faculty, Staff, and visitors can view the photographs from the career Services website.

"The CITE Office helped us with the student interfaces as well as the administrative and judges interfaces so that all aspects od contest takes place online. We are very pleased with the outcome", says Rosalie.

The contest was started two years ago and as it has grown, a new and improved technology method was needed to collect the photographs. Previous contests allowed only students pursuing academic credit internships to participate. Beginning this year, The contest will be an annual event and will help Northwest celebrate academic credit internships as well as not for credit internships and student teaching experiences.
