A message from the President

Dr. John JasinskiHigh-impact learning. Career-ready graduates. Workforce, community and societal impacts. It’s why we are passionately Forever Green.

Northwest strives for excellence in all we do, but especially in the quest for “student success – every student, every day.” It’s not just a mission; it’s a systematic approach to assist and inspire students to continue their higher educational journey to degree completion.

Northwest’s core competencies – safe, trusted, invested and resourceful – are fitting attributes threaded throughout our strategic plan and conducive to navigating the changing landscape. Our strategic objectives ultimately guide our thinking, actions and investments. And, notably, are demonstrated in our resulting performance excellence evidenced throughout these pages. With more than 60 national academic and athletic championships from 2009 to 2019, we are a proven winner.

At Northwest, our performance and excellence does not happen by chance. While learner and workforce needs are evolving and state funding is decreasing, Northwest remains committed to providing an outstanding education at an affordable price. Solving today’s student, community and workforce challenges demands inventive strategies, and a vibrant, dedicated culture of partnerships with faculty, staff, alumni, friends and industry.

The Forever Green Campaign offers opportunities to invest in and optimize Northwest’s strengths, establish innovative academic programming, intensify emphasis on profession-based learning and provide solutions for our students, communities and workforce.

Today is a stellar opportunity to discover what Forever Green means to you, your family and friends, communities, and beyond. You are invited to partner with Northwest, to solve problems, to uplift others, to achieve milestones, to honor the memory of a loved one, and to sustain an influential university.

I invite you to explore, envision and partner because, together, we are Forever Green.
