Hand Washing Protocol

Use the steps listed here to ensure that hands are as clean as possible in order to reduce the risk of infection to yourself and others.

Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can be used for a substitute for soap and water if hands are not visibly dirty. These can be easier on the skin than soap and water. Make sure the hand sanitizer is at least 60 percent alcohol. To use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel:
