Stacey Wiedmer, M.S., Project Director
Stacey earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University in April 2005. She did her practicum in the counseling center and worked as a graduate assistant in the counseling center and the psychology/sociology department between the years 2002-2005. Stacey has also worked as a Career Consultant under a federal grant to assist dislocated workers in finding employment and training. In 1999, Stacey completed her Bachelor of Science in Personnel Psychology from Missouri Western State College. Areas of interest include working with college students to increase self-awareness and develop personal values; educate students about healthy relationships; and enable them to address violence issues on campus.
Leslie Bowman, Project Assistant
Leslie started working at Northwest Missouri State University in December 2006. She comes to us with a comprehensive background in accounting and ability to analyze and communicate results effectively. Leslie is also working as the Project Assistant for the NWMSU Suicide Prevention program. She feels a strong commitment to these programs to make students safe at Northwest. In her free time, Leslie enjoys volunteering for the humane society, gardening, outdoor activities, and the arts.
