Petition for Smokefree Environments at Northwest

CASE logo

Secondhand cigarette smoke poses significant health risks. The chemicals contained in secondhand smoke are found to cause serious illness in both smokers and non-smokers alike and lead to significant rates of disease and death each year. A recent report of the Surgeon General cites that there are no safe levels of exposure to secondhand smoke. In an effort to promote the healthiest campus possible at Northwest, CASE (Cats Advocating Smoke-Free Environments), a coalition of Northwest students, is proposing that Northwest Missouri State University enact a 100% smoke-free campus policy.

Please sign this petition to show your support of a 100% smoke-free campus at Northwest.
