Overview | For Students | For Faculty, Staff or Campus Organizations
When you are assigned a Northwest Domain username and password, web space is automatically allocated for you. The default page for all personal web sites is index.htm. Below are instructions about how to access and update pages on your web site.
Student accounts are limited to 10 MBs and non-student accounts are limited to 40 MBs. If you require more space, you may contact Crystal Ward at 660.562.1033 or email her at crystal@nwmissouri.edu. In addition, if you find you are not able to upload a specific type of file, you may send a request to Crystal asking for the file type to be allowed on the server. All requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
If you have changed your password through web-based email, chances are, your domain password and email password are now out of sync. To connect to CatPages, you need to use your domain password. You can reset your password online using the Internet Service Manager. If you no longer remember your original password, contact the HelpDesk at 660.562.1634.
These guides were created to assist students in a particular class. Note that creating the 626 is not required. You can upload your files directly into your folder.
The URL to VIEW your student web site is in the following format: http://catpages.nwmissouri.edu/s/last-two-digits-of-username/username. For example, http://catpages.nwmissouri.edu/s/64/s213564 to view the default page for the student with the username of s213564.
Once at your folder, you may drag and drop files into your web space or edit existing files. Note, you can drag files from your folder onto your computer and edit the files directly on your computer for faster processing. Then when you have completed the update, you can drag the files back into your folder on CATpages. Catpages can continue to be accessed by opening Computer (or My Computer).
The URL to VIEW any non-student (faculty, staff and campus organization) web sites is in the following format: http://catpages.nwmissouri.edu/m/username. For example, http://catpages.nwmissouri.edu/m/bogus to view the default page for the non-student with the username bogus.
