Volleyball 'pink out' night to raise cancer awareness

Head volleyball coach Anna Tool and the Northwest athletic promotions office are requesting all fans attending the 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, home game against Emporia State to "pink out" in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink clothing, and the Bearcat and Hornet squads and coaches will wear pink shirts during warm-ups. The first 200 spectators through the doors will receive free "Pink Out" T-shirts.

Citizen's Bank and Trust has pledged to donate money to the American Cancer Society for every fan in attendance. Informational pamphlets on breast cancer will also be available inside Bearcat Arena.
