Time to make plans for Fall Classic at Arrowhead VI

Bearcats football will return to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, for the annual Fall Classic contest against MIAA rival Pittsburg State. It will be the sixth year the Bearcats and the Pitt State Gorillas have clashed on the home field of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

Northwest is the visiting team this year and will occupy the northeast sideline. Parking lots open at 11 a.m. and stadium gates open at noon. Parking costs $12.

Adult tickets cost $25 (club level) and $20 (field level). Tickets for Northwest and Pittsburg State Students cost $10 with a valid university ID. Children age 2 and under will be admitted without a ticket and must sit in the same seat as their accompanying adult.

Purchase tickets by phone at 660.562.1212 (ext. 1212 on campus) or online through Thursday, Oct. 4. The Northwest ticket office closes at 4:30 p.m. that day, and Internet sales will conclude at 11:59 p.m.

Sales after Oct. 4 will be handled through Ticketmaster at 816.931.3330. General questions can be directed to the Arrowhead ticket office at 816.920.5590. The Arrowhead ticket booth will open on game day at 11 a.m.

Bearcat Zone

 The Bearcat Zone tailgate party will take place in Arrowhead's Lot M beginning at 11 a.m. There will be food, raffles, door prizes, music and appearances by the Bearcat Marching Band and spirit squads.

Friday Night Social

The Kansas City Alumni and Friends Chapter will host a post-game social from 5-9 p.m. at The Quaff, 1010 N. Broadway in downtown Kansas City.

Security at Arrowhead adheres to Kansas City Chiefs guidelines. Fans will need a photo ID to enter the stadium and may be subject to a pat-down search, an Arrowhead Stadium policy handed down by the NFL.
