The Northwest Athletics Department is looking for student interns interested in helping create and implement promotional projects and events for the 2009-’10 academic year.
Interns will assist in the planning and execution of such events as National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the Fall Classic at Arrowhead Stadium and Midnight Madness.
Applicants must be full-time students at Northwest and have reached at least their sophomore year. This is a full-year commitment that begins with the fall trimester.
Interns will be expected to display high levels of energy, responsibility, motivation and organization while assisting the Office of Athletic Marketing, Promotions and Licensing in carrying out marketing strategies for one of the top intercollegiate sports programs in the country.
An informational meeting for interested students is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, in the Navy Room located on the west side of Bearcat Stadium. Dress is business casual, and applicants must bring two copies of their resume. All majors are welcome.
