Northwest students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to attend the University’s annual Lobby Day at the state Capitol in Jefferson City on Tuesday, March 11.
Bus seating is limited, and those wishing to reserve a seat should call Jasper Mirabile at 660.562.1242 or e-mail s270031@nwmissouri.edu by Monday, March 3.
Lobby Day is a time when members of the University community can meet with legislators to discuss issues of importance to Northwest and its students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The day’s schedule appears below:
• 4:30 a.m., bus leaves from the Administration Building.
• 9:45 a.m., breakfast at the Capitol.
• 10:15 a.m., small-group meetings with senators and representatives.
• 12:30, p.m., lunch, third-floor rotunda.
• 1:20 p.m., small group meetings with senators and representatives.
• 3:00 p.m., debriefing in committee hearing room.
