Northwest to mark Graduate Education Week
Northwest will join universities across Missouri April 14-19 in celebrating the value and achievements of graduate education during Graduate Education Week. Campus events marking this statewide emphasis are listed below:
- Monday, April 14: Look for informational posters in the J.W. Jones Student Union, The Station, residence halls and academic buildings.
- Tuesday, April 15: Graduate students recognized for outstanding research/creative/scholarly work. To be announced.
- Wednesday, April 16: Graduate Office open house, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Administration Building, west wing, second floor. Refreshments and displays of theses, presentations and course offerings. Graduate staff will be on hand to answer questions about Northwest’s graduate programs.
- Thursday, April 17: Outstanding Graduate Faculty Recognition. Graduate faculty members will be recognized for contributions to the program and its students. To be announced.
- Friday, April 18: Outstanding Graduate Department Award. To be announced.
