President describes plans for restoration of campus arboretum

   In his semiannual address to faculty and staff Jan. 11, President Dean L. Hubbard said the Northwest community’s emotional response to widespread tree damage caused by a severe December ice storm is best described as grief.
   But with grief comes healing, and plans to restore the campus tree stand -- designated as the Missouri Arboretum -- are already well underway.
  "This campus, and this arboretum, will be better than it ever was," Hubbard pledged. MORE
