   A senior representative of England's Queen Elizabeth II and the founder and chief-of-protocol of London's New Year's Day Parade visited the Northwest campus Wednesday, Sept. 26, to discuss details of the Bearcat Marching Band's participation in the Jan. 1 extravaganza.
   The Honorable Roger Bramble, lord lieutenant of Greater London and former lord mayor of the City of Westminster; parade founder and Executive Director Robert Bone; and Director of Protocol Geraldine Bone met privately with Director of Bands Carl Kling before taking part in a brief ceremony at the Joyce and Harvey White International Plaza on the Northwest campus. Pavilion barbecue, Memorial Bell Tower events to honor faculty/staff service

   In recognition of National Customer Service Week Oct. 1-5, the offices of Human Resources and University Relations will host a "Celebration of Service" from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the College Park Pavilion. Attendance is limited to full-time, regular University employees, both faculty and staff. A full barbecue dinner will be served. MORE
