Dr. Himadri Chakraborty and Matt McCune
Research by Dr. Himardri Chakraborty, assistant professor of chemistry and physics, was recently published as "Photoabsorption of hybrid states in endohedral fullerenes" in the "Physical Review A Rapid Communication" (Vol. 79, 2009, page 061201). This article was also featured in the "Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science and Technology" (June 2009).
Research supervised by Chakraborty with undergraduate student Matt McCune, Maryville, as lead author was recently publisehd as "Reflective and collateral photoionization of an atom inside a fullerene: Confinement geometry from reciprocal spectra" in the "Physical Review A Rapid Communication" (Vol. 80, 2009, page 011201). This article was also featured in the "Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science and Technology" (August 2009).
