Dr. Virgil Freeman
Dr. Virgil Freeman, assistant professor of educational leadership, recently served in the first panel of a two-part study convened with regard to the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA).
Freeman represented Northwest, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Missouri Professors of Education Administration group at the meeting, which took place in Baltimore, Md.
The panel of education experts, representing 16 states, was assembled to recommend the minimum score needed in order for candidates to pass the assessment.
