A ceramic sculpture by Laura Kukkee
Ceramics by Laura Kukkee, assistant professor of art, will be on exhibit at the University of Dallas (Texas) during March.
Kukkee was invited to show her work by Dan Hammett, head of the UD ceramics program, after she was awarded Best in Show at the Regional Juried Ceramics Competition in January. The show was juried by Val Cushing, professor emeritus of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.
This is Kukkee’s third solo show since joining the Northwest faculty in fall 2004. The exhibition will showcase stoneware vessels made over the past fall and winter.
