C. Kenkel, J. Adkins, A. Strong and J. Nickerson

"Balance Sheet" has published an article in its The November/December issue by Cindy Kenkel, assistant professor of marketing and management, and Joni Adkins, instructor of computer science and information systems, titled "Résumé Writing: Why Wait Until the End of the Course?"

The article highlights the benefits to business communication students of writing résumés early in the semester and outlines a plan for teachers to follow.

Adkins, along with marketing and management instructors Allison Strong and Jeff Nickerson, also recently attended the Delta Mu Delta triennial convention in Philadelphia.

During the business honor society's conference, the three Northwest faculty members presented a session titled "Evolution to the 21st Century Global and Socially-Responsible Leader," which reviewed traits common to 20th century managers while focusing on global leadership and corporate social responsibility needs in the 21st century.
