Connie Ury, B.D. Owens Library outreach coordinator, recently delivered a presentation at the Missouri Library Association meeting in Springfield titled “Measuring the Ingredients: Recipe for Success? A Story of Instructional Assessment.”
Ury's research reviewed the library's history of gathering student/faculty qualitative data and using that information to improve instructional materials, content and delivery.
Highlights included a summary of quantitative research projects, identification of improved materials and use of Association of College and Research Libraries Information Literacy Standards to measure instructional success.
