Tower Choir to perform at Convent of Perpetual Adoration

Northwest’s Tower Choir under the direction of Dr. Stephen Town, professor of music, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Convent of Perpetual Adoration’s Monastery Chapel in Clyde. Admission to the concert, titled “Some Aspects of Bliss,” is free.

Dr. Pamela Shannon, associate professor of music, is the featured soloist, and pianist Dr. Charles Badami is the accompanist.

Northwest's Tower Choir has been a prestigious part of the University’s musical tradition for many years. Performance highlights have included a by-invitation performance at the Washington National Cathedral during an extended tour that featured appearances in Washington, D.C., Maryland and New York. The auditioned, 48-voice ensemble has a rich history of choral performance marked by invitational appearances at a number of respected education and choral events.
