Hypnotist Jim Wand to perform at Northwest

Dr. Jim Wand, hypnotist, will perform at 10 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in Charles Johnson Theater on the Northwest campus. The free show is being sponsored by the Student Activities Council.

Involved with hypnosis for more than 20 years, Wand holds a Ph.D. in psychology and has more than 5,000 professional engagements to his credit. He is considered to be one of the foremost hypnotism entertainers in the world.

A frequent television guest, he has worked with such stars as Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Probst (host of “Survivor”), Sylvester Stallone, George Strait and The Judds. He has also appeared on "The Sally Show," "The Judge Joe Brown Show," the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.
